Geodes

This was my first custom prosthetic made completely from scratch as part of my final project for CMU College. I wanted to create a hypothetical deep earth dwelling, humanoid species whose skin would be fused with stone and crystals. This was such a fun experience and I very much enjoyed the process of developing prosthetics. This piece was silicone, with geodes molded directly from actual geode crystals and each exterior rock pebble was painted individually with it's own unique colors and designs.
